Manual grating
Grating composed of bearing bars and separators of high thickness that confer high mechanical performance.
Grating composed of bearing bars and separators of high thickness that confer high mechanical performance.
With the manual grating, the bearing bar and the transverse strips are joined by fitting both together without pressure and welding reinforcement in alternating joints.
Carbon steel is the most common material used in the manufacture of manual grating, which can be supplied in stainless steel or corten steel. The stresses to which it would be subjected determine the quality and finish, with the most recommended being galvanized, which provides the essential protection against corrosion.
Both the bearing bar and the separator bar of a manual grating may be provided with half moon or continuous serrations.
The pictures shown are type details whose measurements are set out in the Product Manufacturing Table.

The values shown in the tables are referenced to those included in the graphical representation of the product. AxB represents the distance between the axes of the bearing bar (A) and (B) in millimetres, the distance between axes of the separator bar.
